Hikvision latest HDTVI with 4K video at Secutech

Hangzhou, China

Hikvision is demonstrating its latest HDTVI solution at the Secutech Tradeshow, Taipei, Taiwan, taking place this week from 19–21 April, 2016. Visitors will experience cutting-edge technologies along with higher video performance, increased compression efficiency, and longer transmission distances over coaxial cable.

Hikvision’s latest HDTVI Solution preserves the convenience of an analogue system while providing up to 5 MP-resolution with 4K video output, making high-definition surveillance systems possible without replacing existing cabling or substituting IP cameras. Engineered with Hikvision’s high-calibre H.264+ compression, Hikvision HDTVI solution dramatically reduces bitrates by up to 50% while maintaining high transmission quality without sacrificing precise details. Hikvision’s HDTVI solution has been designed to guarantee up to 3,900 feet (1,200 metres) of high-quality HD720p transmission and up to 2,600 feet (800 metres) of HD1080p video over coaxial cable, so existing systems can be extended easily and larger projects can be executed quickly.

At Secutech, the Easy IP Solution is also on display which will introduce visitors to more of the advanced features continually being added to Hikvision’s product family. Of special note are 4 MP ultra-high resolution, 120dB WDR, and H.264+ optimised Smart codec.

Hikvision will also showcase its Panovu Panoramic Camera Series, which won the “Golden Excellence Award” at the 15th China Public Security Expo and iF’s 2016 Design Award. Panovu cameras transmit 8 MP, 180-degree and 16 MP, 360-degree, distortion-free, ultra-high-definition video, seamlessly integrating video from multiple sensors in one unit. Add to that Panovu’s powerful Smart Tracking abilities, linkage to PTZ, and up to 36x optical zoom to magnify tiny details in panoramic images.
