Hangzhou, China

Dahua adds two new models to the Eco-Savvy 2.0 line

Dahua Technology has recently launched the company's latest series of PTZ cameras, the Eco-Savvy 2.0 portfolio.

The Eco-Savvy series offers the SD59 and SD50 cameras - both models carry the spirit of the Eco-Savvy 2.0 series which includes an energy-saving concept, and features a 30x optical zoom capability, as well as smart features to make surveillance easier.

The Eco-Savvy 2.0 series PTZ cameras are engineered to offer users an excellent surveillance option for high-resolution and clear video monitoring as both provide long range visibility, 24 hours a day, in all lighting conditions.

The compact design, of just 5-inches in size, has been designed to allow for much faster movement than a metal ball. It provides a maximum pan speed of 400°/s and a maximum tilt speed of 300°/s. The Eco-Savvy 2.0 series PTZ cameras are engineered with a smart detection function, which can detect progressively moving objects and alarm situations within the camera's area of coverage. The concealed style of IR design on the SD59 is able to support a maximum of up to 100-metres effective IR distance. It carries an IP66 dust and water ingress rating which ensures the camera can withstand even the harshest weather environments.

Without the support of IR, the SD50 is still extremely effective in capturing the most minute activities when deployed, and features an IP67-rating for weatherproofing and an IK10 vandal-proof rating to effectively prevent violent destruction.

This series can be widely used in many fields such as schools, hotels, parks, shopping malls, supermarkets, factories, urban roads, etc. Integrated with Dahua advanced technology, it aims to offer high quality at an affordable price and provides safety and durability.
