The Utouch terminal is designed with embedded Android or Linux OS, a 7’’ touch screen, NFC & RFID contactless smart card reader and biometric fingerprint capabilities, as well as with TCP/IP, Wifi, 3G, Bluetooth allowing the user to build a wired/wireless system between devices, PC computer and mobile devices. A workforce solution based on cutting-edge smart card and biometric technology, Utouch supports cloud-based time attendance and access control management for user archives, labour tracking, physical access.  This can be deployed to ensure authorised users gain the right access at the right time according to their job role and areas that they need to access, and to avoid uncontrolled movement of people. Utouch performs real time control with automatic data collection, such as reporting who opened a particular door and when, or who exactly is on site, and also to track the exact working hours; plus system access data is visible at anytime and anywhere by authorised users.

Moreover, Utouch fingerprint sensor features a solid and scratch-free surface that is ideal for wet and dry fingers, designed to capture reliable high quality fingerprint images for fast biometric identification. It has an effective large sensing area and supports fast fingerprint enrollment and authorisation online.  According to the company, the system performs speedy authentication at 0.76 second (1:1000) and 1:1 verification in 600ms. It can save 1~10 enrolled fingerprint templates per user and a robust optical fingerprint 1:1 or 1:N (1900/9500) is supported.

The system can store and match fingerprint templates in an RFID smart card with added privacy access rights and the fingerprint template can be automatically distributed to any online terminals.

Utouch is capable of working with high resolution cameras and a wide touch screen, and takes pictures, enrolls a few templates and necessary information quickly - all the templates, images and data are synchronised to a central server for management and distribution to other terminals for access control time attendance.
