Zavio launches H.265 extreme outdoor IP camera in Vegas

Las Vegas, USA

Latest H.265 IP camera built for surveillance applications with severe weather temperature and weather conditions

New Zavio H.265 IP camera for extreme conditions

Zavio, founded in 2006, has been one of the pioneering companies focusing purely on IP surveillance, and it now showcases the debut of the company's latest H.265 IP camera at ISC West 2015 this week.

The new Zavio H.265 IP cameras features an innovative design that can blend well with an extreme environment. There are two models (D8220 / B8220) offered.  Each H.265 IP camera is equipped with the latest generation Sony Exmor image sensor (1080p@60fps + WDR extreme) with motorised lens (P-iris) and adaptive IR built-in that can be expected to deliver higher video quality.  As it employs H.265 compression technology, this series of IP cameras performs at a 50% lower bitrate in comparison with the H.264 models.

The built in fan and heater protects the camera from -40°C to 60°C extreme temperature and the IP66 rated certified housing construction makes this H.265 camera able to withstand harsh outdoor conditions and severe weather. Equipped with a wide angle lens and smart IR, the camera is capable of a viewing range of up to 40m to achieve excellent day and night functionality.

These H.265 IP cameras are currently offered in dome and bullet type options.  Plus they are offerd with an IVS Pro function and are compatible with the free bundled professional Zavio Camgraba 2.0 NVR software for up to 64 IP cameras and with a plug-and-play cloud solution; users can easily setup a surveillance system and monitor 24-7 from mobile devices, PCs or laptops without any extra costs.
