He does not see the megapixel race as being over. He claims higher megapixels are necessary for multi sensor cameras, and believes that the need for megapixels will actually increase in step with the technological evolution of cameras in general.

Web TV: Megapixel race is not over according to Pelco
Many people claim that the megapixel race is over. Detektor TV Magazine interviewed Dave Dalleske at Ifsec 2015 when he was still Pelco Vice president of Sales for EMEA, and he shared his views on the subject. He has since left the company.
