The soft blue backlighting emits the light through specially developed flutes within the numerical keys. The keypad is able to retain its environmental rating of IP67 and attains a new level of vandal resistance due to a cushion between the keys and the electronics.

Maximum security is attained by it's remote electronics ensuring it is impossible to gain access by removing the keypad from the wall and by-passing the electronic circuit. The free voltage feature (12 to 24Vac and 12 to 48Vdc) is a standard feature of the PROFIL100EC.
