Vista enters OEM partnership with HP

Reading, Berkshire (UK)

Vista has entered a new partnership with HP, global leaders in server technologies. HP offers one of the broadest portfolios in the industry, delivering superior choice that can reliably support customer needs – from desktop servers, to the most demanding rack mounted server requirements.

This new partnership with HP enables Vista to offer customers a range of servers designed and built to meet the required specification for Qulu, aimed at ensuring a seamless experience from the point of purchase.

All servers benefit from extended support including a 3 year next business day warranty, intelligent management (iLO) and Vista Spark.

ILO provides automated, pro-active intelligence to allow the user to maintain complete server control from any location via a web browser or the ILO mobile app. This eliminates the need for additional software installation.

Vista Spark is a dedicated storage device on a server’s main board. Should the operating system be damaged or the disk corrupted, Vista Spark contains copies of the operating system and Qulu software, ensuring full recovery of a server in minutes.

The entry level servers require minimum space whilst providing the ability to manage up to 32 megapixel cameras. The rack mounted option can manage up to 128 megapixel cameras and includes RAID5 controllers for added redundancy.

Steve Canning, Technical Product Manager, comments, “We’re very excited about our relationship with HP. The partnership further demonstrates Vista’s commitment to offering a powerful and engaging VMS product range to the market.”

Vista will be showcasing the new servers in partnership with HP at Ifsec in London this week.
