Videcon provides solution for traders in Staines

Heckmonwike, West Yrkshire (UK)

Spelthorne Crime Reduction Partnership joined together with retailers in Staines to resolve problems with anti-social behaviour and criminality.

In February 2006 with financial contributions from Spelthorne council, Surrey Police and local traders, work began to improve security in Staines town centre. The system included the installation of 12 VCP451 day/night zoom cameras from Concept Pro, a brand exclusive to CCTV distributors Videcon.
The installation of the security cameras has brought peace of mind to traders in Staines, who first reported problems of anti-social behaviour in 2004. Installation Company, Central Security Systems Ltd was responsible for the specification and install of the VCP451 cameras. Chris Lazzari, Managing Director of Central Security Systems, commented, 'The VCP451 is a good quality low light camera. It is a reliable unit and complete with features such as a built-in zoom lens, provides the ideal solution for town centre applications'.
The VCP451 camera incorporates the latest ¼" high-resolution Sony CCD technology and day/night function to deliver clear, noiseless pictures 24 hrs a day. Steve Newsome, Videcon Sales Manager adds, 'The VCP451 is a compact unit that is rich in features, including RS-485 controller interface and on-screen display menu for ease of set up'.
