Successful CCTV surveillance project implemented in Mauritius
Port-Louis, Republic of Mauritius
The Mauritian government, therefore, attached great importance to both street surveillance and islandwide digital radio communication system projects and embarked on a search for the top of the range CCTV providers on the market. The final decision after several months of preparation and evaluation, went to Dahua Technology, who successfully went through strategic tests at all levels and won the tender to provide a total CCTV solution for the project.
The project was quite recently completed and approved, after which it was successfully handed over to the Mauritius National Police Administration. The Mauritian officials remarked that Mauritius will definitely benefit a great deal thanks to this project, since it now gives the reassurance to the people and builds a comfortable environment for the country’s development.
The recorded video from the system also serves as forensic material to provide accurate evidence to protect victims’ interests and maintain legal justice. In addition, this system also brings positive effects for traffic surveillance, as traffic flow and congestion can now be controlled and managed more easily, resulting in better reaction and interaction and less congestion and accidents.
Mr. Ramgoolam, the Prime Minister of Mauritius, and Bian Yanhua, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Mauritius, along with other high-ranking governmental officials, took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and visited the construction site. Later, Mr. Ramgoolam held a banquet in Port Louis to extend his gratitude and again approved the outstanding job that Dahua had done. In his address he said "Dahua Technology is a trustworthy security solution provider and security products manufacturer."
Dahua Technology was honourably awarded the “highly-qualified construction certificate” as approved and issued by the ministry of commerce, Mauritius. “The approval we received will stimulate us to further scale new heights.” The manager of Dahua Technology responded.
