With the new professional-grade motion detection capability, users can now tell the Spotcam, which offers 24 hours of cloud based security video storage for free, to set a specific zone, such as windows, and choose to ignore what is happening within the normal camera viewing area. Accordingly, users will receive notifications, via email or pushthrough via the mobile App, when a motion is detected outside the marked zone and and has triggered the device to record.
