The County Department has selected AVerDiGi SA6416E embedded hybrid DVRs to help track all 78 cameras’ feeds from the gates, hallways, offices, counters, to parking lots. Separated from a secured DVR storage room is the central management control room where AVerDiGi central management system- CM3000 integrated all surveillance video, from DVRs, to 4 individual display monitors. The advantage of this application allows security guards to better manage the floors by using functions such as E-map for pinpointing unusual movements, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 8x8, up to 64 cameras on one screen, local and remote playback with multiple search modes, and live video streaming with different authorisation access levels for monitoring different screens.
The security decision made by the county to use AVerDiGi SA6416E standalone DVR was based on the stability of the system as it needed to withstand 24/7 monitoring and with a limited security budget.
