The international importance of ISAF exhibition for the fire and security industry is underpinned by the steady increase in the number of exhibitors, visitors and growing international attendance. The ISAF 2009 edition attracted over 23,000 visitors from 37 countries, and 89 percent of the exhibitors stated that their overall objective was for establishing sales contacts. The show aso played host to more than 300 exhibiting companies from 34 countries.

A comprehensive conference programme was one of the most important aspects of the ISAF Fair in 2009. The theme for the 2010 ISAF Fair is “Integration”, and the event will host various conferences addressing security, fire, safety professionals, organizations and public bodies across the region.

Turkey is hosting many important sports events and is involved in the forthcoming elections for many future events. Security is one of the most significant issues in the organisation of such events. The “Security and Safety in Sports Events” Conference, where the security issues facing sports and sports venues will be discussed, will be organised by The Federation of All Special Security Associations in Istanbul Expo Center (Hall 9–10, Pamukkale Hall ) between the dates of 24-25 September 2010 with the support of the Turkish Football Federation.
