Sanyo cameras secures airport in Lithuania

Kaunas, Lithuania

Together with the local partner, the system integrator FIMA in LT, Sanyo Fisher Sales (Europe) GmbH equipped the new international airport in Kaunas, LT, with a CCTV system. FIMA has more than 350 employees and is dealing with enterprise projects such as airports.
To ensure the inner part of the airport with all its important areas like entrance, ticketing, check-in or luggage are, 20 of Sanyo's indoor 30x colour version VCC-9500INCP have been installed.

Two VCC-9800EXCP high speed domes are monitoring the parking area and entrance gate with licence plate recognition. According to the airport's security manager, Sanyo CCTV equipment was chosen due to its excellent picture quality and perfect focusing performance with up to 36x zoom and even more by using the digital zoom of Sanyo CCTV cameras. The members of the security team can easily and rapidly keep the area under surveillance by the help of cameras having the 470 degrees of PTZ function.

The former system using 35x zoom couldn't come up to the requirements of a modern CCTV surveillance on an airport. Sanyo cameras ensure a perfect picture quality even at maximum zoom.
