Riva surveillance cameras with built in video analytics

Huckelhoven, Germany

With the latest Riva camera product line bandwidth problems, limited computer capacities and high storage costs could become a thing of the past.
“Onboard” video analytics analyses and evaluates video images already before either stored in camera or transmitted to management- or storage systems. This prevents transmission of large video data, which contain little or no process information, loading network and computer power, not to mention high costs for storage media and hard discs.

Each camera of the Riva series already includes extensive video analytics, upgradable easily and cost-effectively with software modules for special applications (precise people counting, vehicle counting, access control and permission granting, speed-sensitive object tracking, remote or suspicious objects, etc.)

The 3D video analysis differentiates between people, vehicles and other objects, thus preventing false alarms that could be caused by animals for example.

A self-learning algorithm automatically adapts to environmental changes, ignoring light changes due to cloud formation, artificial light and auto-iris camera operation as well as repetitive movements such as swaying trees or rippling water.

The Riva camera product line covers all variants of box, dome, speed dome up to bullet cameras with resolution from VGA/D1 up to 2 megapixel / 1080P HD.

High quality standard and easily configurable video analytic features mark this camera as an ideal solution for use in many different security markets.
