Real-time recording and transmission solution

Reading, UK

Vista's popular real-time recording and transmission solution, the VLS-02DR SmartDisc has received a significant upgrade to its storage capacity - now 320GB as standard and at no extra cost.

The new Vista VLS-02DR320 SmartDisc retains all the features of the previous model but thanks to its increased storage capacity, can now retain even more high-resolution CCTV footage, up to 50ips recording rate.

Part of the Vista SmartDisk range of products, the Vista VLS-02DR320 SmartDisc is a 2-channel DVR for smaller transmission and recording applications and is capable of supporting 30 of the leading dome camera protocols, including the Vista PowerDome range.

Supported by all leading ARCs (Alarm Receiving Centres), the unit's integrated video server enables remote viewing via any PC equipped with Vista's free-to-download software, whilst simultaneous web viewing of live pictures via Smart phone or PDA is available via an integrated 'web server'. Audio can also be continually or event-trigger recorded, with bi-directional audio transmission supported for the archiving of two-way conversations, in addition to video footage. The Integrated EPoS (text) Interface also affords the direct integration of text from devices such as tills and fuel pumps, with the unit's compact dimensions making it ideal for ATM applications.

"The increase in recording capacity means the Vista VLS-02DR320 SmartDisc can provide installers with a leading two-channel product for a wide variety of CCTV applications." says Mark Pritchard, Vista's divisional director. "Raising this capacity now means that a greater amount of vital evidential video footage can be stored, allowing any retrospective investigation to pick the finest detail from each and every image."
