Raytec prepares for winter with lighting survival kit

Ashington, Northumberland (UK)

With the dark nights upon us, Raytec are offering an innovative lighting survival kit to ensure that all CCTV systems are fit for the winter.
The lighting survival kit is designed to help security professionals achieve better images at night and save energy and money, at a time of year when lighting is on for longer, when more crime occurs during darkness, and when cameras are most vulnerable.

The free lighting survival kit consists of two services to get security systems through the dark nights. Firstly there is the lighting design service and then the energy and cost saving report service.

With the lighting design service Raytec’s team of expert lighting designers can help to design a lighting system that guarantees excellent images during the hours of darkness and is tailored to individual requirements. Raytec offer both 2D and 3D lighting design plans highlighting the best possible lighting positions, number of fittings and detailed lighting levels.

Along with the lighting design, the energy and cost saving report service provides information on the efficiency of a lighting system. Bad lighting accounts for a surprisingly large proportion of electricity use – as much as 40% for many organisations. The reports detail the return on investment and the energy and cost savings to be made over 1, 5 and 10 years, by switching to Raytec LED illuminators compared to a traditional lighting solution.

Raytec is urging clients to take advantage of the lighting survival kit to ensure that their CCTV systems are fit for the winter.
