Raytec has over 10 years history of designing LED lighting solutions for safety and security critical projects in the most extreme and challenging applications and a new dedicated website now reflects Raytec’s commitment to bringing their experience, innovation and proven LED lighting technology to key hazardous area markets.

Following the launch of Raytec’s Hazardous Area Division in 2013 and the development of their Spartan range of Atex/ IEC Ex LED luminaires, the new website provides quick and easy access to information on the full range of Spartan products including flood, linear, bulkhead and transportable. All product ranges are also available with emergency variants for increased flexibility, versatility and safety.

The website highlights the advantages of adopting LED technology and the features and benefits of each range, whilst a convenient product selector page with specification filters helps to select the product best suited to a particular installation.

Barry Thompson, Head of Raytec’s Hazardous Area Division comments “Our new website really puts the user first and aims to provide the most useful tools needed to support someone from the very initial stages of exploring which products might be suitable for an installation, right through to specification and installation. We have designed our products based on our field proven LED technology and we recognised that reliability, modularity and easy maintenance are important to our customers, together with a range of emergency variants. The new website allows our customers to explore and understand all of those benefits quickly and easily”.

The website provides access to a range of valuable services including; Lighting Design Service providing 2D and 3D lighting plans for a specific project, Custom Built Product Design Service for bespoke projects or challenging applications, Demo Product Service for trialling Raytec products prior to installation, and a Live Online Chat Service to connect instantly with in-house lighting experts for quick information and answers to questions.

The new website also features a dedicated ‘Industry Knowledge’ hub to share knowledge, tips and opinions from over 100 years of combined experience in designing, specifying and selling LED lighting worldwide. Here, visitors can download white papers, guides and articles exploring a variety of key topics including: design techniques to maximise savings on installation, operation and maintenance, installing for optimum safety, understanding the total ownership cost of an LED system, how to upgrade and replace old fittings to LED, and much more.
