QNAP's new high performance Viostor NVR

QNAP Security recently launched it's latest Linux-embedded surveillance systems at Security Essen 2012, Germany.
The latest QNAP Viostor NVR, VS-12164U-RP Pro, has been awarded in the Secutech Excellence Awards 2012 with the NVR Excellence Award, which was presented to the company at the Security Essen 2012 exhibition where the device won praise from the show visitors. The new 12-bay VS-12100U-RP Pro series, available in 64, 56, 48, or 40-channel, features a Quad-core Intel Xeon E3 processor and server-level hardware platform, and supports high storage capacity of up to 48Tb. The Viostor NVR is compatible with more than 1,500 IP cameras and video servers from popular brands.

The QNAP CMS-2000 (Centralised Management Solution), the Linux-embedded and highly reliable CMS server was designed to achieve a high level of centralised management of multiple NVRs. QNAP CMS-2000 can manage up to 256 channels for simultaneous monitoring. With the QNAP CMS software, users can easily set up a surveillance centre to capture each monitored channel efficiently.
