Provideo GPS tracker helps gain a better reputation for delivery company

Yangon, Burma

Yangon is a former capital of Burma (Myanmar) with a population of over four million, continues to be the country's largest city and the most important commercial centre. Yangon is located in Lower Burma (Myanmar) at the convergence of the Yangon and Bago Rivers about 19 miles (30 km) away from the Gulf of Martaban.
The city is a main trading hub for all kinds of merchandise in lower Burma– from basic food stuffs to used cars although commerce continues to be hampered by the city's severely underdeveloped banking industry and communication infrastructure. Bayinnaung Market is the largest wholesale centre in the country for rice, beans and pulses, and other agricultural commodities. Much of the country’s legal imports and exports go through Thilawa Port, the largest and busiest port in Burma.

The Shwedgan Courier Company manages over 50 trucks providing delivery of goods and valuables in the Yangon district of Burma. The courier teams pick up and deliver over 10,000 goods daily. But central control operators were finding it difficult to organise the route to pick up and the estimated delivery time, resulting in wasted time for both customers and couriers and increased fuel usage and costs. The team installed the Provideo GT-100B –GPRS GPS tracker system, and now the operators can easily locate the courier's correct position and organise the pickup route. Now, the team is not just winning a reputation of trust, but also they are minimising fuel usage and saving on costs at the same time.

Provideo GT-100B is a GPS tracking module in a compact size, the GT-100B is designed with simple installation in mind. And, Provideo claim that its Quad-band (850/900/1800/1900) supports to compatibility with most telecom systems worldwide. The GT-100B provides 2 digital inputs and outputs for users to connect to a trigger switch or panic button for emergency purposes. The device is incorporated with a built-in battery so that in the event that the vehicle ignition is turned off then the GPS tracking position is still traceable.
