Pointsec appoints President for wireless solutions subsidiary

Stockholm, Sweden

Pointsec has appointed Christopher Grahn as President of Pointsec Wireless Solutions, the company business unit for developing and marketing endpoint encryption solutions for the carrier market.
Pointsec Wireless Solutions was formed in April 2006 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Pointsec Mobile Technologies, with the purpose to streamline Pointsec's offering to mobile carriers, handset manufacturers, and to mobile communications solution providers.
From 2000 to 2006, Christopher Grahn was CEO of Ascade Telecom Software, where he initiated and successfully executed a strategic redirection, from a local Internet consulting company into a market-leading software provider for the international telecom carrier industry. Christopher also has experience from PricewaterhouseCoopers, as a management consultant focused on strategic consulting services for the telecom industry. Prior to Christopher Grahn, who assumed his position on September 1, Thomas Bill, former CEO of Protect Data AB, has been acting President of Pointsec Wireless Solutions.
"Christopher's solid experience from strategic sales in the telecom industry, and his extensive insights from building a global business are talents which we have emphasized when recruiting a leader for Pointsec Wireless Solutions," said Peter Larsson, CEO, Pointsec Mobile Technologies.
"Christopher is a key addition to Pointsec management, working within an area where we expect significant growth ahead."
"Pointsec Wireless Solutions is off to a great start, with a market-leading product offering for mobile client security and an established global customer base," said Christopher Grahn. "We have a proven ability to meet mobile carriers' specific requirements on their suppliers."
