New Perco LB-series electromechanical locks

St Petersburg based Perco is presenting the company's unique LB-series electromechanical locks with voltage supply through the locking bolt.

The main point to highlight on these LB-series locks is that the voltage is supplied through contacts in the locking bolt and in the mating lock element under the strike plate. The power cable and control cable are connected through the strike plate in the door frame, not through the door leaf.

LB-series locks are designed to be aesthetically pleasing on the exterior of the door, and this new design means that the door frames are protected from damage.  The components are stainless steel and installation is easy, plus there is forced entry protection and the power consumption is low.

The Perco LB-series with power supply over the locking bolt includes lock models for internal doors, which differ in both the control mode (normally open/closed) and in the centre-to-centre spacing. The 72 mm and 85 mm distances between the axes of the handles and locking cylinders meet the most widespread standards, which allows for the replacement of mechanical locks with electromechanical ones without any reconstruction of the door. For narrow metal section doors with glass there is also a special Perco LBP-series.

These locks are compatible with any door-handles and standard Euro DIN security mechanisms.

Perco has also produced an LB-series locks video with detailed descriptions of the technical specifications of the product as well as a visual presentation of all the benefits and advantages of LB-series locks.
