Optelecom NKF to preview of Siqura PTZ IP dome camera
Germantown, Md (USA)
Optelecom-NKF will offer a preview of its Siqura PTZ IP dome camera that includes a flexible SFP interface for directly connecting to a fiber optic network, 35x zoom, and 24 user-defined mosaic privacy masks. This will be shown along side their complete range of ONVIF-compliant, 1080p/720p high-definition cameras.
In addition the new eight-channel, low-power Siqura S 68 E encoder will give visitors a glimpse of the most energy-efficient and compact H.264 video streaming solution currently available.
Optelecom-NKF will also put its two new video content analysis (VCA) applications on display. Each of these VCA programs has recently been integrated into the Siqura S-64 E video server and checks the status or well-being of the attached camera by monitoring the camera’s position and image quality. When something is amiss, the applications trigger an alarm to promptly alert operators, thereby guaranteeing quality video material while at the same time reducing unnecessary maintenance costs.
The award-winning Siqura Trafficserver will also be on exhibit. This innovative product is the first video server ever to be integrated with automatic incident detection (AID) technology.
This array of examples demonstrates Optelecom-NKF’s ability to fulfill the needs both of its customers as well as the industry. It also shows how Siqura solutions are essentially dynamic and can be tailored to any video networking need.
“At Optelecom-NKF, we create innovative and reliable video surveillance solutions according to our customers’ needs,” explains Fabien Haubert, Optelecom-NKF’s Senior Sales Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). “We are flexible and we work closely with customers on site to design and deploy the optimal system. This is something that really sets us apart. We are eager to show attendees at Security Essen 2010 just how flexible we are and how hassle-free life can be when you’re working with Siqura surveillance solutions.”
