Norbain expands Access Control range

Reading, UK

Norbain SD Ltd has announced that FAAC, the world leader in automated systems, has joined them as a supplier to further expand their growing range of Access Control solutions.

FAAC is the world's leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of access automation systems, with over 40 years' experience and thousands of systems installed. Their full range of barrier solutions will be available from Norbain, as detailed in the upcoming Autumn 2006 Catalogue.
"We're delighted to be able to offer such a high quality range of barriers to our customers," says Anne Bowden, Norbain's access control product manager. "We've spent a long time looking for the perfect partner to enhance our current offerings, and FAAC have everything we were looking for."
Available offerings include the industry leading 640 model with a beam length of up to seven metres for applications involving a wide entrance area. The 620 rapid model can raise and lower the barrier in just two seconds, while the super rapid barrier can achieve this in just 0.8 seconds.
"Norbain and FAAC have a lot in common," explains Will Walker, managing director of FAAC. "We are both the market leaders in our fields and we have both seen a lot of success through providing quality products and service to our customers. It made sense for us to work together and I am very excited by this new venture."
