New series of system redundant HD NVR products from Hikvision

Hangzhou, China

Hikvision is unveiling a range of newly developed embedded NVR products, namely the DS-9600NI-ST series, with redundant system design, high quality megapixel recording, and mass storage based on the new Netra platform.
Compared to the former Hikvision NVR series, the new DS-9600NI-ST series features an innovative redundant system design -- a primary system in operation and a further system providing a backup facility. If the main system crashes, the back-up system is activated immediately, providing a smooth switch-over to the secondary system and allowing the DVR to record continuously and uninterrupted.

Equipped with two self-adaptive 10M/100M/1000M network interfaces with functionalities such as load balance and network fault tolerance, the DS-9600NI-ST range largely satisfies user needs for acquiring complete video information in high quality and without compromise on continuity of recording.

The DS-9600NI-ST series NVRs are capable of accessing up to 32 network cameras, whilst also supporting video input with resolution of up to 5 megapixels. HDMI output is supported for high definition video display at 1080p. Additionally, the DS-9600NI-ST series of NVRs features 8 SATA hard disks each with up to 4Tb of storage capacity.

According to Hikvision these new NVR products are an ideal solution for large-scale applications where high definition IP monitoring is paramount.
