New senior appointment at Honeywell EMEAI
Hegnau, Switzerland
John Hakanson, who served as president of Honeywell Sensing and Devices, under which System Sensor and City Technology operates, will retire and will provide support with the transition through May 2013.
The organisation will help Honeywell’s Systems and Sensing businesses work more closely together, which will have a positive impact on the business according to David Wilson, who commented, “This is a great move for the business. It will allow us to become more competitive in the way we operate, go to market and service our customers. Our brands are already highly successful within our core markets and high growth regions, therefore they will continue to operate as distinct entities enabled with more collaboration opportunities. I am excited about the new direction for the business and the opportunities it will bring.”
David has led EMEAI’s Sensing and Devices business for eight years focusing on innovative technologies that help customer conversion and retention, gaining traction in high growth regions and elevating operational excellence. In his new role, David will report to Honeywell Life Safety President, Mark Levy.
