New saltwater resistant day/night security camera from Abus

Muhlhausen, Germany

The new saltwater-resistant day/night outdoor security camera TVCC61000 from Abus Security-Center records great quality video even under water. With its robust nylon housing, the camera can be used both in freshwater and at sea (for example, on ships).
The camera is equipped with a Sony 1/3" Exview HAD II CCD for dim underwater light conditions. The CCD element is extremely light-sensitive (0.005 lux). 650 TV lines provide high quality recordings. The integrated lens has a focal length of 3.6 mm, and the horizontal angle of view is 78°. At a light intensity over 2 lux, the pictures are in colour. Under 2 lux, the camera automatically switches to the light-sensitive black/white mode. The camera is equipped with BLC and ATW functions as well as a noise reduction function for removing image noise interference.

Protection type IP68 and high-quality stainless steel ensure that the camera will deliver enduring performance when used at depths of up to 40 metres. Thanks to its effective protection against micro-particles, the camera can also be used in coastal areas where the air is salty.

The camera comes with a 50 m connection cable (pre-installed), 12 V adapter, sunshield, stainless steel wall mount and a BNC/Cinch adapter. The adapter is used to make a direct connection between the camera and a television monitor.
