Katy, who was the first to join the company in 1996, has been promoted from her existing position of Financial and Operations Manager. The sustained growth of the company, the result of an aggressive new product introduction programme, a strong design team and enhanced manufacturing capability, now requires a dedicated focus on company wide procedures, logistics and facilities management to ensure that the company builds on its long-established reputation for high quality products and excellent service levels.
In her new role, Katy, who has been personally responsible for the development of many of the existing IT and production control systems currently in use, will oversee all activities associated with manufacturing, site management, purchasing and logistics, working closely with key colleagues in the sales, marketing and technical departments. She will also deputise for MD Malcolm Burrows when he is away from site.
