This car license plate camera, the MTC-LV6638HQ-R is built with the Sony Super HAD CCD II and the Sony HQ1 DSP for its resolution of up to 540 TVL. It is also designed incorporating a whole host of functions, such as mechanical visible light filter, dynamic noise reduction (DNR), and sense-up for capturing excellent image quality under all conditions, even for installations at entrances to car parks for example.

The camera adopts f3.8~9.5mm or f9.0~22mm with the D/N varifocal lens. It performs from 1.5 to 6 metres with the f3.8~9.5mm lens or 6 to 13 metres with the f9~22mm lens. With its patented external adjustment feature, it allows the camera to easily adjust the focus on the varifocal lens.

The MTC-LV6638HQ-R, is ideal for capturing car license plates with retro-reflection. Even under strong headlight conditions or other seemingly impossible situations equally during the day or at night, the captured images still remain clear and recognisable to the human eye as well as for further intelligent video analysis (IVA).
