New Innovative Electro-hydraulic servo Bending Machine

This innovative work is innovated by an academic team with instruction from Prof. Wong, Ray-Hwa of Hwa-hsia University of Technology.  The Hwa-hsia University of Technology is allied in 21 TVE schools of NTUST Regional Industry-University Cooperation Center, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Electro-hydraulic servo pump-controlled bending machine is designed to replace electro-hydraulic servo valve-controlled ones with feature of energy-saving in operation.

The energy efficiency of a Valve-controlled system is normally reached 37%, while the pump-controlled system’s efficiency can be up to 90%. The success in developping the electronic-hydraulic servo pump-controlled bending machine will improve production quality but also save  much more energy.

The response of the electro-hydraulic servo pump-controlled bending machine is employed the coupled adaptive self-organizing sliding-mode fuzzy controller that supports better synchronicity than the valve-controlled one which used proportional controller. The adopted coupled adaptive self-organizing sliding-mode fuzzy controller, reducing the impact of asymmetry and structure coupling effect of dual-axle pump-controlled hydraulic bending machine; this enhances the control precision of a dual-axle pump-controlled hydraulic bending machine.

The dual axle electronic-hydraulic servo-control bending machine, is also a tool machine, has been a typical example in application to the manufacturing industry.

This innovation provides domestic and International manufacturers the related software and hardware designing technology in development of hydraulic platform at better quality and energy-saving.
