Moroccan office for brand name ownership protection secured by IP cameras from ACTi
Rabat, Morocco
The facility has a considerable number of visitors daily, thus with these 18 cameras in total, it allows full coverage of the facility, making it very helpful for the security guards to manage the flow of the visitors. ACTi CAM-5321P is a MPEG-4 compression based IP box camera, using Sony EXviewHAD CCD with a mechanical IR cut filter day & night function, which can function at a minimum illumination of 0.05 lux at F1.2. Its PoE function also facilitates the overall deployment of network cable and power supply. ACTi video encoder is reputed for its powerful transmission of video, audio, digital signals and serial data with only 1.2Mbps bandwidth consumption per video stream, each channel provides full D1 resolution (720*576) at 25 frames per second.
This ACTi IP surveillance solution was chosen over the DVR one for its flexible extendibility. The second building is under construction and the same solution will be expanded with a larger number of cameras. The Moroccan Office thought of it as an investment protection as they won't have to add more DVRs as they double the number of cameras. "We showed the customer the solution value from the future point of view," said the general manager from Bridge Engineering, Mr. Nafal Afraj, "It is also important for the customer to keep a simplified and unified operation platform for the different surveillance systems deployed at different stages whenever they need it."
