The Surveyor-Mini is an IP True Day/Night PTZ camera dome providing flexibility and significant cost savings over previous Surveyor VFT models. The high quality video generated by the Surveyor-Mini units can be transmitted either by using H.264 compression to minimise the impact on the network and storage, or alternatively by using MPEG-4 compression. There is also the option for analogue transmission with support for multiple control protocols.
Other key features of the Vicon Surveyor-Mini include 10x Optical Zoom featuring Auto Focus, Auto Iris Zoom Tracking functions and DNR (Digital Noise Reduction). The standard configuration is clear domes for indoor models and smoked domes for outdoor units. Outdoor units include a blower and thermostatically-controlled heater.
All versions of the Surveyor-Mini domes are vandal-resistant to IP66 and are constructed of impact-resistant polycarbonate and secured by tamperproof screws.
