Megapixel IP camera with SXGA resolution

ACTi releases a new Megapixel IP camera, ACM-4200. ACM-4200 provides SXGA resolution (1280 x 1024), which not only can provide users with a wider field of view, but also better image details.
The digital resolution is separate from analog resolution (measure in number of TV lines). There are generally four levels of video resolution: CIF is 352 by 240 pixels; VGA is 640 by 480 pixels; and D1 is 720 by 480 pixels.
The larger the picture size, the clearer and more details will be observed. When the total number of pixels goes beyond one million, it becomes "megapixel". Both types of resolution must be sufficiently high to achieve a good clarity.
