March Networks forges ahead in the UK and Europe

Having announced its intention to expand operations into the UK and Europe following its stock market debut in 2005, March Networks is using IFSEC 2006 to underpin its commitment to international expansion. Key highlights: - Showcasing the products and solutions which underlie the success of its applications - Introduction of Michael Rack, VP of UK Sales, March Networks - Appointment of key UK personnel and location of European HQ offices

The company enjoys a 25% share of the digital recording and surveillance software products in the US banking sector, as evidenced by a recent Frost and Sullivan Award for vertical market penetration. In addition to the banking sector, March Networks is a market leader in both retail and transport applications.
March Networks will be exhibiting its comprehensive suite of purpose-built digital video recorders and network management and application software, that enable end-users to capture and manage video and transactional data. Proprietary software allows both the company and its end-users to perform remote system management and diagnostics that will proactively maintain and upgrade video surveillance systems from a central location.
On show at IFSEC will be the entire range of 4, 8 and 16 camera DVR systems and software, as well as demonstrations on how these systems address specific market requirements. In particular, the company will be showcasing the industry's only networked video system that integrates transaction data (POS or ATM, as examples) both locally and through sophisticated, centralized software; video analytics capabilities; and the industry's toughest mobile DVR - the 5308.
March Networks' products and solutions will be referenced to specific high profile applications to demonstrate technology in action, and give both installers and end users a detailed understanding of the applications.

Introduction of Michael Rack, VP of UK Sales
A veteran of the technology sector, Michael Rack will be spearheading the international expansion of March Networks.
"We have enjoyed significant success in the North American markets, and have started to see this market-leading expertise being adopted in the international marketplace", says Rack. "Strategically, we regard the UK and Europe as key markets, and will be actively expanding our activities in these areas."
European HQ offices and appointment of key staff
March Networks will shortly be announcing the opening of its European HQ in the UK, which will provide the hub of its UK and continental European operations.
