Major players add pulling power for Smart City Expo

The event is now in its 3rd year and based on its previous show report, this event in 2013 attracted over 164,000 visitors from both local (85%) and overseas (15%) in Asia Pacific markets; around 67% of those visitors were in the ICT field, 7% from banks and financial companies, 13% SMEs or shops owners, 3% from the governmental sector and 10% were public end-users.
According to the visitor analysis by profession, 47% were business managers, 23% Directors/Executives, 15 CEOs/Presidents/GMs, and 15% private and governmental end-users.
This show is fast becoming a platform for cross-strait exchange. Possessing strong R&D capabilities in the ICT industry and cross-domain integration, Taiwan has an excellent position to leverage the global trend of the smart city concept and to break new grounds within the Chinese and South-East Asian markets.
The show also combines six professional sectors, the 2014 Smart City Expo comprises, smart technology in - building, healthcare, transportation, retail, energy and security.
Smart City Expo is designed to deliver more business opportunities between the industrial sector and its clients, through exchanges between various corporate levels within different professions and their dedication to this grand event, and thereby establishing this event as the premier industry cross-strait platform.
