Latest electronic locking system using Legic technology
Zurich, Switzerland
The licensing agreement will extend Uhlmann & Zacher's product range with highly secure electronic Legic locking cylinders and readers for time recording. Uhlmann & Zacher can now integrate Legic technology in its Clex product portfolio in even the smallest space, offering its end users innovative solutions in the area of access control.
Dr Marc Zacher, managing director of Uhlmann und Zacher, confirms the benefit of the partnership to end users: ''We have been developing successful electronic locking systems from as far back as 1996. This licensing partnership is in response to growing demand for Legic based products, and means that we can offer our customers more focused and applicable solutions for access control and time recording. The flexible multi-functionality of Legic technology enables the system to be expanded at any subsequent stage. Optionally, it is simple to extend existing Legic cards with our applications."
Dr Otto Eggimann, vice president sales and business development of Legic is equally convinced that the partnership will deliver mutual benefits: ''Given the continuous increase in demand for electronic locking cylinders, Uhlmann & Zacher's licensing agreement with Legic is a step in the right direction. I am confident that this move will further establish the company as a major player in the access control solutions market."
