Korenix PoE switch for intelligent transportation

Taipei, Taiwan

Korenix Technology is showcasing its new industrial full Gigabit unmanaged booster PoE switch – Jetnet3908G- M12 – at the Embedded world exhibition taking place from the 26 - 28 February 2019 in Nurnberg, Germany.

The new PoE Switch, Jetnet3908G-M12, is equipped with 8 PoE/ PSE Gigabit interface with a device fault bypass function that allows it to fit in to environments when high transmission capacity is required. The device is also equipped with rugged M12 connectors and is suitable for IP surveillance in harsh environments such as railway transportation systems or metro systems.

Korenix Jetnet 3908G- M12 meets multiple railway standards, such as, EN50155, EN50121-4 and E-Mark traffic certification. It also has a high PoE budget, 10K bytes jumbo frame for large file transmission and an embedded DC 54V booster. Moreover, the device features a rotary switch for power delay off and ignition sensing system. In transportation application cases, when the engine of a vehicle switches off, the PoE switch enables it to keep monitoring other devices like surveillance cameras, IP phones, DVRs etc. In addition, Jetnet 3808G is designed with dual 9~36VDC power input. The above power features ensure a reliable power sourcing.

Besides the M12 connector, which is applied for vibration and shock applications, it is also equipped with a rugged design including an IP41 wall mounting steel case, and with an operating temperature of -40~75℃, making it suitable for harsh environments.

Jetnet 3908G- M12 and Jetnet 3808G- M12 are both industrial unmanaged booster switches that can help build an intelligent transportation system. Jetnet 3908G is full gigabit device and is suitable for customers that require high transmission capacity. The device is robustly designed, meets multiple railway standards and provides a reliable power source.
