KBC Extended Ethernet 200 series

Maidstone, Kent (UK)

KBC's Extended Ethernet range allows legacy coax systems to be upgraded to IP, saving time, money and disruption on site.
The 200 Series is an IEEE 802.3af /at compliant PoE line driver that provides connectivity for a 10/100Mbps IEEE standard twisted-pair copper port over a 75Ω coaxial interface allowing new IP technology to pass over existing cable.

With its 4:1 system, the 200 Series allows even greater cost reductions. Using a BNC splitter, up to 4 KBC EE2CL, remote units can be supported by a single unit at the head-end. The PoE+ device also allows 4 IP cameras to be transmitted over 1 coax cable without needing edge power.

The 200 Series is housed in an industrially-hardened, compact, wall-mount unit that fits inside most camera housings or a 19” rack unit. The series can be supplied individually or as a range of kits for 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 or 1:4 connections.
