Jantek launches into Skandinavia via Skydd

Next week at the Skydd 2012 show Taiwan Jantek will be focusing on its latest access control reader, the FP-500A/B.
The FP-500A/B access control reader features both touch keypad and fingerprint access functions and it also supports 950 users, with the FP-500B designed to support up to a maximum of 4750 users in a single system. Both devices are able to accommodate as many as 20,000 historical log events for management retrieval purposes at a later date.

The system works with applied fingerprint identification on a ‘1:1’ & ‘1:N’ method with an FAR of 0.001% and FRR of 1%. This series of readers performs at a 0.8 second identification response time in ‘1:1’ mode with up to 950 users accessing the system. The FT-500A and FT-500B are both equipped with 4 relay contacts (at DC12V, max. 1Amp).

Both models are capable of working within an intranet network with an optional TCP/IP converter or with a built in TCP/IP module for system negotiation over the internet.
