IQinVision remote monitoring software

San Juan Capistrano, CA (USA)

IQinVision announces the release of IQaccess remote monitoring software for sale to IQ certified partners.

IQaccess on-camera software alerts the user via a pop-up window on a PC whenever motion is detected, a doorbell is pressed, or another device triggers an IQeye network camera. Upon alert, the software enables the user to control the camera's relay to activate a door, control lights, sound a voice alert, or any of a wide variety of responses.

IQaccess was originally designed for the education market to allow receptionists and security personnel to view visitors and then grant access from a remote location. Other markets that have shown a strong interest in IQaccess include the hospitality industry to alert backroom hotel staff when late night guests arrive, and law enforcement to alert officers with video pop-up on their mobile PCs when an IQaccess event is triggered.

Up to eight onsite/remote clients can register a PC to receive alerts from each IQaccess-enabled camera and each client can choose to receive notifications 24/7 or on a pre-determined schedule. Easy installation features include a simple PC application that can be downloaded for free from IQeye.com and IQeye PRO LINE cameras can be field upgraded and continue to work seamlessly with existing NVR software.

"IQaccess is yet another example of how an investment in an IQeye camera today multiplies over the life of the camera," said Paul Bodell, IQinVision chief marketing officer. "IQaccess is a relatively simple program that expands the functionality of the IQeye and expands its role for the end user from security surveillance to remote attendant and access control. Our customers can continue to look forward to more market-valuable applications like this from IQinVision."
