Intersec confirms first class speakers at the ME Fire and Safety and Health Conferences

Over the past 8 years the GCC has spent a staggering $277 billion on defence and security. This amount accounts for approx 12.7 % of their GDP, the highest ratio in the world. The projected growth of the security systems and equipment market, especially for safety, within the UAE is estimated to be 25% per annum over the next five years. With the perpetual construction projects within the region, safety and security are becoming increasingly more important. No wonder Intersec, the region's leading trade fair for Commercial Security, Fire, Safety and Health and Police and Homeland Security that will be taking place on January 21st - 23rd 2007 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, is growing tremendously as an international event.

The Exhibition will embody four specialised segments. Commercial Security Middle East has been created due to the importance of security systems and technologies for new projects in the Middle East. Police and Homeland Security Middle East gives new insights on border control, anti terrorism, command control, policing equipment, airport security, and forensics to name a few areas of specialization. Fire Middle East in cooperation with the Dubai Civil Defence, creates awareness of fire fighting and fire prevention. Safety and Health Middle East which is supported by the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH) UK provides overviews and solutions on health and safety issues in the Middle East.
These four specialised areas cover every aspect and issue within the fields of security and safety.
Visitors, who come from all corners of the globe, will be truly inspired.
