Iguana surveillance system with two revolutionary design concepts

Taipei, Taiwan

Substantial installation in Finland

Sunvision's new generation surveillance camera, Iguana active tracking surveillance system, has been successfully deployed in Finland. It is capable of covering 75-degree x35m or 35-degree x60m with 160pixel/metre high quality resolution, equivalent to 100 megapixel, in video.
Unlike existing traditional surveillance systems, the Iguana surveillance system has been developed with two revolutionary concepts--two cameras built-in and with a mirror mechanism--in design. The 'two cameras' design combines both the advantages of telescopic range and wide angle range. The wide angle camera is used to cover large areas to locate the target, and the telescopic camera is used to provide excellent detailed images of the target.

Instead of using a PTZ platform which can sometimes be slow and have limited lifespan issues due to heavy workloads. The mirror mechanism provides outstanding 5 target/sec tracking ability for 24-7 applications. With these two revolutionary designs, the company believes that the Iguana surveillance system provides a whole new experience to the surveillance market today.

The housing of the Iguana active tracking camera is made from rigid aluminum alloy and provides IP 66 protection against all kinds of harsh environments, including cold weather in the Nordic regions, hot dry weather in the Middle Eastern areas and tropical storm conditions in Southeast Asia.
