Access 8 CD 2.1 will support all Mifare Plus security levels while remaining compatible with an existing population of any Mifare Classic transponders. This gives the user a smart option if they or their customers anticipate migrating from Mifare Classic to Mifare Plus in the future.

Access 8 CD 2.1 is a highly configurable, secure reader with Mifare Plus and Desfire support. With sector reading capabilities, it is suitable for multi-applications. Connect it to an existing Mifare system and it will flawlessly read the Mifare Classic cards already having been deployed.

Idesco are also releasing the new economical Prox-EM keypad readers. These energy-saving Access 7 AH readers are now being offered with keypad housings: Quattro Pin and Slim Pin. This allows for flexibility and gives many more alternatives to choose from in the Idesco rugged and affordable EM and prox reader range. This new range allows the user to enhance their EM or prox system’s security at an effective price point with the introduction of a pin code algorithm with Access 7 AH keypad readers.
