Huperlab stereo camera with 3D people counter

Taipei, Taiwan

The Huperlab 3D Counter combines a state-of-the-art stereo camera - huperEyes - and an exclusive 3D people counting algorithm to capture three-dimensional images, and count people with much greater precision. It works in a similar way to human vision without laser or sensor required.
The huperEyes 3D Counter further provides distance and height measurements that easily distinguish people with different heights, and sense whether the objects are moving toward or away from the camera using the depth of field.

Equipped with the huperEyes stereo camera, the 3D Counter offers useful information that can further be analysed for business intelligence. For example, retailers are able to learn their customers’ shopping behaviour, improve customer satisfaction or evaluate store layout based on the information provided by the 3D Counter. For certain locations with height limits, like amusement parks, huperEyes 3D Counter can prevent people under a certain height from entering restricted areas.

The 3D huperEyes Counter ensures easy and flexible camera installation and offers more accurate people counting as well as generating clear facial images at the same time. It recognises individual objects even at close proximity and is less affected by light or shadow variation. The huperEyes 3D Counter solution is a vision-based counter that is compatible with other different surveillance systems for video recording.
