Huperlab and Intel combine forces to show the benefits of HD surveillance

Taipei, Taiwan

Huperlab and Intel recently jointly presented the benefits of HD-SDI surveillance solutions with local partners, AzKing, Circuit Solutions in Thailand and the Philippines.
The aim of this team partnership was to present the HD advantages, and uncompromising performance of their Hupervision HD-SDI surveillance system based on the 2nd Generation Intel Core Processors.

In the HD roadshows, the programme manager of Intel Digital Security Surveillance Business Development, Robert Loh, brought attention to the HD-SDI surveillance by demonstrating its market potential, and the advantages and new uses for HD surveillance.

With the optimisation of the 2nd Generation Intel Core Processors, Huperlab further showcased their Hupervision HD tribrid DVR system that delivers 16 channel 1080p/720p H.264 real-time display and recording without any transmission latency. The 3-in-1 tribrid function allows any combination of HD-SDI CCTV, IP and CCTV camera connections in one single surveillance system that fully meets the demands for multiple usage scenarios.

In addition to HD surveillance, Huperlab explained how the Hupervision video analytics system could be applied in vertical markets. For example, the 2D/3D people counter feature assists retailers to learn about customer shopping behaviour and to view their business and activities, which could be used to improve customer satisfaction and store layout and to aid with more efficient decision making.

It is hoped that the participants took away with them some new ideas about HD-SDI surveillance systems, and how they can be used as an ideal and easy way to upgrade to HD surveillance, particularly via the Intel platform as it can accelerate such upgrade with its immense computing power and DSS technology.
