Taiwan University is the number one university in Taiwan with 11 colleges, 54 departments and 103 graduate institutes, plus four university-level research centres. The total number of students, including those enrolled at the School of Professional and Continuing Studies has grown to over 33,000, including over 17,000 university students and 15,000 graduate students.

The Hundure Easycard solution is a touch-and-go IC ticketing system for the Taipei city Metro, bus service, designated card parks, stores and government agencies.

There are over 1,000 doors in the campus and over 33,000 students and management is required throughout the different departments. They use Hundure's multi-door control panel and LCD reader. The multi-control panel will support 4, 8, or up to16 doors per panel. In the control centre the web-base software has been installed for the system management. The system can be programmed with date/time and holiday schedules allowing administrators to configure the students classroom times and thier access to the buildings.

The system offers the benefit of combining both their public transportation and student ID for access control in a single user friendly and convenient card.
