The training which is being carried out by Martin Finder (UK Office director) and Axel Reimers (product manager) is aimed at a range of candidates, from the novice in the field of video transmission right through to the more experienced user/installer wanting to improve his or her knowledge on the HeiTel range of equipment.

The first training course took place in early April and was appreciated by the participants from all over Europe. The next training courses take place in May and September 2007.

The training will involve an overview of the HeiTel product range to familiarise the candidates with their whole product offering and also to highlight the kind of applications these products can be used in. There will then follow a live demonstration of their products and participants will then progress to the main core of the training, which is the hands on exercises with the HeiTel software and hardware. Each candidate will be assigned a PC and will load and configure software - connect to transmitters/digital recorders and learn how to configure the hardware. The aim is to enable potential users to gain a working knowledge of the software and to enable technicians to reach a level where they can fully configure and commission a HeiTel system both in terms of hardware and software.
