As 1.3 Megapixel resolution, this makes them provide four times more details in the (viewing) securing area, compared to traditional CCTV cameras or network cameras with VGA resolution.

The high video quality of the F5100/F5105 series of cameras is also achieved through providing maximum 15 frame rates in SXGA resolution (1280x1024) and 30 frame rates in VGA resolution (640x480), which performs the smooth video for live securing and storage. Furthermore, there are 4 selectable resolutions included HD 720P set via configuration web page in each compression for increasing flexibility.

Power over Ethernet is capable in Zavio F5100, which offers two obvious benefits: cabling cost saving and flexibility of device placement. For high security applications, ex: banks, even if the power is failed, it offers uninterruptable operation as long as the network is still workable. Zavio F5105 offers high performance wireless transmission with IEEE 802.11 b/g capabilities, which is flexible to choose either a wireless connection to the network or a wired connection to the network. The F5105 also supports WEP 64/128 bit and WPA/WPA2-PSK to enhance wireless connection security.

Zavio F5100/F5105 also provides multiple video streams (H.264, Motion JPEG, and MEPG-4) which helps connect to the camera through mobile phone with MPEG-4 stream, recording the video to desktop PC with Motion JPEG stream, and using laptop to monitor indoor facilities with H.264 stream simultaneously. With multiple streams, the camera can truly realize A3: anytime anywhere access.

Zavio F5100/F5105 will be available in Q3 2009; they will be offered with true Megapixel CS-mount lens, which ensures the superior video quality for securing offices, shops, and other indoor facilities.
