H.264 hybrid DVR with dual core processor shown for first time at Essen 2010

The Averdigi IWH3216 Touch, the IFSEC Award 2010 finalist DVR, will be displayed for the first time at the Security 2010 exhibition in Germany. The Averdigi IWH3216 Touch has been incorporated with the latest dual core processor that delivers significant CPU performance on multiple concurrent tasks and outstanding video quality. It also features 16CH IP and analogue hybrid, and with most IP camera brands and models integrated. It is recognized by its features such as the industry-first H.264 embedded hybrid DVR with dual core processor. It is an embedded system architecture with an embedded operating system that delivers significant CPU performance for improved system reliability and functionality. The dual core processor opens up the possibility of processing multi-applications at the same time as enabling Avermedia to provide their customers with efficiency and low-power consumption without sacrificing DVR performance and software functionalities that are imperative in most video surveillance deployments.

The IWH3216 Touch is also backed by strong export/backup devices to flash memory, RAID, NAS, external HDD and internal SATA HDD. Other features include: Built-in RAID 0, 1, 5, 240/200 (NTSC/PAL) fps in D1 recording, dual gigabit LAN support, and dual VGA output, 16Sensory/4Relay, e-SATA, RS232/RS485, and 16 audio in/1out.

In addition, it supports intelligent functions such as POS integration to improve management efficiency, intelligent human face detection, smart visual search from specific camera, and noise reduction to minimize signal noise and file size, and video encryption to protect user privacy.

Users who want to take advantage of the interaction with the system can also find E-map, user recording settings extremely useful through Avermedia’s graphical user interface, and CMS integration, which are designed to conform with all Avermedia products.
