Exclusively for this re-introduction of Grundig, a new company was founded. Together with Grundig and its former employees, the newly formed ASP AG will bring back the Grundig philosophy with their marketing tag line: "For a good reason. Grundig."

Located in Germany, close to the old Grundig roots, the ASP AG acquired the license rights for the Grundig brand for professional security products. The concept of the new Grundig is to introduce products “Designed in Germany”, as well as some products “Made in Germany”, as it was the old Grundig tradition.

ASP AG wants to contribute its own know-how to the product development, but also will rely upon already existing components. Therefore, the manufacturing of the products can take place everywhere in the world, as well as in Germany. All manufacturers for Grundig needed to prove their long term experience in the production for other world-wide well-known brands.

The goal of ASP AG is to follow the Grundig philosophy and launch products that are of good quality, simple in use and affordable for professional applications.

The focus of the new Grundig line-up is clearly on new digital technology with IP (networking) and HD-CCTV products having the highest priority in the relaunch of the brand. In addition, the well-proven PAL-CCTV products will also be available, as market demand is expected to continue to be high for some years to come.

Grundig will be introduced to the market by exclusive distribution partners. As one of the first, the Aasset Security group decided to go with Grundig for the markets of Germany, France, UK and Italy. The goal is to establish Grundig on the market together with reliable partners for the benefit of the customers.
