Geutebruck opens new offices to cover sub Saharan Africa sales

Johannesburg, South Africa

Charles Volschenk, Geutebruck Southern Africa

Geutebruck now has a new African subsidiary, Geutebruck Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd based in Meyersdal near Johannesburg in South Africa.
Managed by Charles Volschenk, who has returned to his native land after a spell as Geutebruck’s international sales director, this is now the sales office for sub-Saharan Africa and will provide technical support for local partners across the region.

Geutebruck currently has three integration partners in the region: Multivid, a partner for several decades, as well as new partners, Omega Risk Solutions and Siemens SA. They already have a wide range of corporate clients including amongst others mines, banks, energy companies and city surveillance centres. It is planned in due course to expand further with only two more South African partners, of which one will come from the IT stable. Meanwhile, Geutebruck Southern Africa is also seeking system integrator partners for Namibia, Botswana and Zambia with other countries to follow.

As Charles Volschenk comments, “There are many established businesses and government institutions in this market who understand the importance of investing in quality, long-term solutions. Thanks to Multivid, our long-standing partner in the region, Geutebruck has a good reputation in this sector and we expect this new business to do well.”
